An Extra Large,  Top Quality Chilean Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is a big upper jaw lateral tooth with four cusps. Excellent preservation and fantastic color. A natural Hoploscaphites nebrascensis ammonite with excellent preservation of the shell material. The ammonite shell has some natural iridescence. This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with multiple rows of tubercles (nodes). This specimen is sits in an original Pierre Shale nodule with a flat base for a great display.
