A LARGE, well preserved Irish Elk (Megaloceras giganteus) from the Rhine River, Germany.  The Irish Elk was an oversized Elk that evolved in the Pleistocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene in Eurasia. The PERFECT, very rare Parotodus benedeni tooth. An April 2019 Fossil of the Month. Lateral tooth. The crown has extremely sharp cutting edges. Exceptional light tan & blue color and preservation. An extra large, nicely prepared Hollardops sp. trilobite. Preparation is German directed with all original colors and no restoration. Excellent preservation and condition. Nice detail in the compound eyes. A Middle Devonian (380 mya) from the Djebel Issoumour area, Atlas Mts., Morocco. A large, high quality specimen. Authenticity guaranteed. Notye - This is the Hollardops species with narrow pointy spines on the tail.

A LARGE Chubutensis - upper jaw tooth on its original sandstone matrix. Gorgeous variegated brown, tan & gray colored enamel with no peel. Incredible color! Good side cusps.  Extra sharp serrations are incredible. The bourlette is a brown color and essentially complete. The root is excellent red brown color, nicely articulated, and complete with essentially no hydration cracks. Matrix size is 3" x 2-3/4". No repair. An excellent, extra large Peruvian Chub tooth!

A TOP QUALITY, Metasequoia dakotensis cone from Montana. These "dinosaur age" pine cones are found in the Hell Creek Formation of Dawson Co., Montana. These Upper Cretaceous pine cones are high quality with great preservation.They are fully inflated spheres and maximun size (redwoods produce very small cones for their size!).
