A Top Quality Chilean Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is an upper jaw tooth with seven primary cusps. Excellent preservation and fantastic color. Perfect cusps. Note - there is a small patch at the base of the root. These tooth was found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. and is late Miocene to early Pliocene age. A scarce collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site. This rare piece is from an old collection!

A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich  blue crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A perfect "Pungo" hastalis tooth.

A HIGH QUALITY Megalodon  - upper jaw tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has an excellent Blue & Tan colored crown with a complete brown & tan colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantatic & rare colors!  The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip. Tooth has one crack. An incredible 5-1/4" GEM, Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth. It has an excellent medium blue colored crown with an exceptional hazel brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! One of the finest examples of a classic upper jaw anterior blue Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine. NO repair. The BEST of the BEST! Definitely one of my favorites. My largest and  last blue LC Meg to offer.
