An Ultra Rare nicely prepared, Struveapis sp. trilobite. A new phacopid trilobite with diagnostic characteristics including schizochroal eyes with fewer facets, a broader cephalon, and a smoother exoskeleton. An excellent specimen with good detail and completeness. The preparation is German directed with all original colors and no restoration. Great natural black with good luster. Oneecompound eye is exceptionally preserved. An ultra rare, top quality 4-1/8" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. A November 2019 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon tooth remains on the original matrix block which includes two whale bones - all original as found! Highest quality enamel with a great light tan color.
