This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. It also provides the most detailed, highly preserved fossils. Exceptional preservation and preparation. A Top Quality Onchopristis numidus rostal tooth from the Kem Kem area of Morocco. Onchopristis was a large, fearsome Cretaceous Saw shark, and it is believed to be a meal for Spinosaurus. This is a shorter rostal teeth from a bigger Saw shark. A very robust tooth. Great red color. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. One of my favorite shark teeth.
