A well preserved, Zarafasaura oceanis Plesiosaur tooth, a large extinct upper Cretaceous marine reptile from the phosphate  region (Oulad Abdoun Basin), Khouribga, Morocco. This Plesiosaur has been named Zarafasaura oceanis in 2011. A Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw section from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a large section of the lower jaw showing at least 20 teeth still in place. Bone quality is excellent with no cracks. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. A exceptional specimen from one of my favorite localities. An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Otodus megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Megalodon is an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. Excellent copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are large and sharp. Bourlette is a dark brown  dentin layer. The root is complete. A Miocene Meg tooth. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus upper toe bone or metatarsal from the late Cretaceous of North America. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. An execellent metatarsal bone. Big and heavy. Excellent brown color and patina. This specimen has very good overall perservation. A HUGE, High Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from a very large adult Rex. A June 2020 Fossil of the Month. This massive Rex crown measures 4-9/16" (straight up) or 4-7/8" (straight line) or 5"+ (on curve) and has a big root (2" Wide). The enamel is good quality with some root etchings and natural cracks. Good brown color. The serrations are worn, but visible. The tip is good. Cracks are stabilized with some crack fill. No breaks - possibly one. A natural tooth from a BIG Rex! Note - most teeth of this size that you see are heavy restored and sometimes two teeth are put together! This tooth has original enamel from tip to base. One giant crown. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. See the detailed description to determine how to tell a real T-Rex tooth! A rare crocodile tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. The crocodile teeth are rarely seen. An incredibly preserved Miocene crocodile tooth from the Pungo River Fm.
