A Rare, colorful Peruvian Megalodon tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an exceptional red - brown bourlette. The root is brown and red. Great color! Top quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and mostly complete. The serrations are large and sharp with a slightly damaged tip serration. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian - Two Medicine Fm.) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A May Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 1-13/16" -  an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. An Ultra Rare, rooted Top Quality Allosaurus fragilis tooth measuring 3-3/8". This Allosaurus crown measures 1-1/2" and is wide for its size (5/8"). The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Very good serrations on both sides all the way to the wear facet. Very good serrations for a large tooth. Two cracks was stabilizied. A little repair was done on the narrowest section of the root. Excellent overall condition with very good serrations. An excellent quality tooth!
