A rare Top Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & distally inclined crown, and side cusplets. An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY Spheniscus megaramphus , Penguin skull from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of central Chile. A March Fossil of the Month. An excellent, large skull and beak. There are several penguin species described from this site, but I only seen 7 or 8 of these skulls ofered for sale 20-25 years ago. This is the largest penguin from this site. An ultra rare, Record Size, Top Quality Carcharoides totuserratus (extinct Mackerel) shark tooth from the Fishermans Steps, Jan Juc, Victoria, Australia. A World Record size for this species - so we believe. A May Fossil of the Month. Incredible color and preservation. Complete tooth. This tooth is Late Oligocene (Janjukian) from the Jan Juc Fm. There is a crack at the base of the crown that was stabilized without breaking.  An ultra rare collector's Carcharoides totuserratus tooth. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.
