A Metasequoia occidentalis (Dawn Redwood) branch from Beaverhead Co., Montana. The Metasequoia  evloved in late late Cretaceous and survived the end of the Mesozoic extinctions. A TOP QUALITY, Metasequoia dakotensis cone from Montana. These "dinosaur age" pine cones are found in the Hell Creek Formation of Dawson Co., Montana. These Upper Cretaceous pine cones are high quality with great preservation.They are fully inflated spheres and maximun size (redwoods produce very small cones for their size!). A Very Rare, Quality Protoheptranchias lowei upper jaw tooth and a Carcharias dominguei tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is a new genius from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Hexanchiforme shark.
