An excellent Neotherium mirum jaw section (left mandible) from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. A February Fossil of the Month. Neotherium is a basal walrus. A Top Quality, rare Hexanchus andersoni  tooth from Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California.  A lower jaw tooth with 7 primary cusps. Note - there is a crack in the root - difficult to see. Excellent blue color. One of the most difficult Hexanchus teeth to find! Authenticity guaranteed.

A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These  teeth have a design that includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face. Authenticity guaranteed.
