An EXTRA LARGE TOP QUALITY very rare Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. A March Fossil of the Month. Lateral tooth. The crown has sharp cutting edges. Excellent BLUE color with a tan root and bourlette. The root is ~11/16" thick and shows small hydration cracks. This Parotodus tooth was found in the Yorktown Formation (Pliocene age). A rare, High Quality, 6-1/2" Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth from South Carolina. An excellent Dark Gray colored crown. High quality enamel. The bourlette is a nice dark brown color. A rare well preserved, Cave Hyena jaw section with three teeth (Crocuta crocuta spelaea) from the Yakutsk Region, Siberia. The Cave Hyena is also known as the Ice Age Spotted Hyena. These extra large hyenas lived in the mountain caves from central Europe to Russia. A five associated, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens tail (caudal) vertebrae from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. Bone quality is excellent. Partial process is intact. No cracks. No repair or restoration.
