A GEM, 4-3/8" Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth. Our February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light orange colored crown with an exceptional two tone bourlette. A Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia - an upper jaw anterior tooth. The crown has excellent unique two-tone tan color. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks. The my last July 2017 Fossil of the Month is a GEM 4-11/16" Megalodon - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Fantastic colors - gray enamel and a jet black bourlette. Highest quality enamel - glass-like surface. The finest enamel preservation - very rare! An exceptional black bourlette - near complete. Razor sharp serrations including an exceptional tip serration. Serrations are just about perfect. The root is incredible - a medium brown, nicely articulated, and complete with very small hydration cracks on the display side.
