A rare, Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another June 2018 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An exceptional manus claw. Highest quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with exceptional surfaces - no pitting, nicks or wear - superb surface articulation! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyliei manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired and the proximal edge has a small triangular area repaired which starts at the center of proximal surface (see photo). A rare, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens fossil skin specimen from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a well presereved fossil skin section that sits on top of a section of bone. Excellent articulation. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Glendive area, Dawson Co., Montana. An ultra rare, Top Quality Hexanchus tusbairicus, Six-gill Cow shark, tooth from Kert, Kazakhstan. This lower jaw tooth has ten primary cusps. An Eocene (Bartonian), Shorym Fm. Cow shark species. The Kazakh Hexanchus tusbairicus teeth are quite rare and excellent examples are hard to locate. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - root has been reattached. Old collection material. A well preserved extince Giant Capybara molar from Edisto River, So. Carolina.  The Giant Capybara was an oversized rodent that evolved in the Pleistocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene in North America. This is a molar tooth with good cusp detail with little wear. Well fossilized. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.

A Gem Quality Miocene-Pliocene Mastodon molar from Florida. Incredible color (red, gold & brown) and detail. An August Fossil of the Month. An extinct elephant ancestor that inhabited North America during the late Miocene to late Pliocene. This molar is a recently erupted tooth with a small amount of cusp wear. Excellent articulation. A good root section. This is an exceptionally well fossilized Mastodon specimen. Note - Comes complete with the steel and oak base stand shown. Weighs 1.5 bs. No damage. No repair. A Quality Prognathodon anceps tooth from the phosphate mining region, Khouribga, Morocco. P. anceps is one of the largest mosasaur species known with huge nearly round teeth used for crushing prey.  Exceptional condition and preservation. Note - the large Moroccan Mosasaurs have been renamed to a Prognathodon genus. No repair or restoration.  Authenticity guaranteed. This is a good specimen.
