An ultra rare, Thalassocnus, a Swimming Sloth, manus (hand) claw from the Bahia Inglesia Formation, Copiapo, Chile. A May Fossil of the Month. This sloth lived on the west coast of So. America during the late Miocene age. This claw is a near complete with minor erosion along the upper edge and back end. Both areas have minor restoration. Fantastic color and preservation. Authenticity guaranteed. I have not seen a swimming sloth claw for sale before. This is all of the sloth material that I have from 15 years ago! A rare collector's claw. This is my one and only hand claw!

An ultra rare, 5-5/8" GEM, Deep Red North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon, an upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. This incredibly rare tooth is our February Fossil of the Month. NC001 has an incredible deep red colored crown. The finest color from the copper red site! The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are essentially prefect with a needle-like tip serration. The root is perfect. Definitely a Miocene Meg with "root ears" and serration bumps at base. Note - you rarely see a copper-red Megalodon shark tooth that has a top quality crown, root and serrations - a top .1% tooth from this site! This is one of the finest big Megs from this site and I would say the finest deep red colored big Meg tooth from this site! NO repair! An ultra rare, EXTRA LARGE Top Quality Classic Red Site Carcharocles megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an incredible upper jaw anterior tooth. NC001 has an incredibly rich copper-red color. Fantastic color! The enamel is the highest quality with exceptional gloss. The serrations are large and 100% complete with a perfect tip. Bourlette is brown and 100% dentin layer. The root is complete and nicely articulated. A very well preserved tooth. An incredible polished Goniatites sp., an early ammonite-like cephalopod showing the intricate internal chamber structure. The rock matrix is a beautiful marble material and the cavities are mineral filled! These Goniatites are beautifully polished on all sides. An extra thick specimen (1-3/8").  Authenticity gauranteed. A Top Quality Lepidodendron section from Llewellen, Pennsylvania. The Lepidodendron is extinct genus of tree-sized primitive lycopsid plants that evolved during the Pennsylvanian Period. They are large vascular plants which is related to todays club mosses. This specimen is well preserved with dimple-like depressions covering the outer surface. Pennsylvanian age. (300 mya). Well preserved egg shell pieces from Gastornis, an extinct Giant Flightless Bird, from southern France. This giant bird stood over 6 feet tall with a giant skull and beak. A very unique shell design. These egg shell pieces are typical size with a shell thickness of 1/8"+. They are early Eocene age shells and were found in Aix Basin, Provence, France. All natural. No restoration.
