An Ultra Rare, Hexanchus griseus symphyseal tooth from the Sacaco area of Peru. A March Fossil of the Month. This is the nicest complete lower jaw symphyseal (center) tooth that I have seen. A Rare, colorful Peruvian Megalodon tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an exceptional red - brown bourlette. The root is brown and red. Great color! Top quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and mostly complete. The serrations are large and sharp with a slightly damaged tip serration. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). No repair or restoration. An excellent Peruvian collector's tooth from the old days!  Authenticity guaranteed.

A Top Quality, Myliobatus sp., an Eagle ray, pavement tooth plate from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. This specimen still resides on its original Round Mountain silt matrix which make a perfect upright display. A complete lower jaw plate. Excellent preservation and gorgeous color. Exceptional concentric growth rings well preserved as well as the pair of ventral foramina openings along the side. Very thick at 1-1/16". A rare, Tethysaurus (an extinct Aigialosaur Mosasaur) jaw section with eight original teeth in the jaw. Note -  the original teeth remaining in the jaw are quite rare. The jaw bone and teeth exhibit exceptional condition and preservation (very rare). This wonderful specimen is very mineralized in a hard sandstone nodule. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & distally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This tooth has good color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
