Small well preserved egg shell pieces from Pyroraptor olympius, a Dromaeosaurid raptor dinosaur, from southern France. This small raptor whose name means "fire thief". A very unique shell design with large dimples. These egg shell pieces are typical size for these small eggs with a shell thickness of 1/32"+. These late Cretaceous age shells were found near the Pyroraptor discovery site in Trets, Aix Basin, Provence, France. All natural. No restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.

A TOP QUALITY, LARGE Stylemys nebrascensis, a fossil tortoise shell, from the White River Badlands, Brule Formation, South Dakota. Fantastic color and preservation. Note that Stylemys is thought to be a burrowing tortoise which helps maintain the 3-D in aspect of the shell when they are died in their burrow. A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. A November Fossil of the Month. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face.
