An ultra rare, LARGE Top Quality Alopias palatasi shark tooth, the extinct serrated Giant Thresher, from the Nottoway River, Virginia. A January Fossil of the Month. An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality 5-7/8" Tyrannosaurus rex tooth with root. This crown measures 2-1/4" and is root thick (1-1/2"). The crown and root enamel has very good color and patina. Serrations are worn and there is some enamel peel. Tip end is worn round which is very typical with adult Rex teeth. Several cracks in the crown were filled and stabilized. The root has no hydration cracks - incredible quality. You will not find a better quality root! A top quality, massive Rex tooth from an adult T. Rex. An Ultra Rare, rooted Top Quality Allosaurus fragilis tooth measuring 3-1/4". This Allosaurus crown measures 1-3/8" and is wide for its size (11/16"). This tooth is still inflated. The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Excellent serrations on both sides all the way to the tip. Exceptional serrations for a large tooth. Root cracks were stabilized. A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. A November Fossil of the Month. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face. An ultra rare, ~5" GEM Incredibly Deep Red North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon, upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth from the copper-red site. It has an incredible deep red colored crown. Exceptional color! Note - you rarely see a copper-red Megalodon shark tooth that has a top quality crown, root and serrations - a top .1% tooth from this site!
