A RARE, Albertavenator curriei  (Troodon) tooth from the Horseshoe Canyon Fm. of Alberta, Canada. A premaxillary tooth. I only have one PM tooth. An April Fossil of the Month. Troodontid teeth are known for their very unique shaped teeth with unusually large distal serrations. The enamel is excellent with an excellent brown color.  Excellent large posterior and anterior serrations. Please note that Albertavenator teeth typically have anterior (mesial) serrations. A Stromatolite sp. from Saf-Saf. Morocco. A possible Stromatolite algae mound from Morcco. Stromatolites are structures formed by colonies of blue green algae (or cyanobacteria). This is a Cretaceous Stromatolite. A very interesting display piece!

A Metasequoia occidentalis (Dawn Redwood) branch from Beaverhead Co., Montana. The Metasequoia  evloved in late late Cretaceous and survived the end of the Mesozoic extinctions. Three branches. Great preservation. Found in the Muddy Creek Fm. -  Oligicene age. Authenticity guaranteed.
