A late Jurassic sauropod limb bone section from the Morrison Fm. This is most likely a Camarasaurus femur end section. Camarasaurus was a mid- sized Jurassic sauropod.. Great rich brown color. Excellent bone quality. Note - sauropods had hollow bones with air sacs to reduce their weight. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. An October Fossil of the Month.  The Phareodus was a carnivorous fish with large pointed teeth and a long pectoral fin.
