A silica replaced Cyrtospirifer brachiopod Rudkine near Voronezh, Russia. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. Exceptional preservation. Note - 1" thick and heavy! This is a late Devonian (370 mya) brachiopod. A nice display piece!

A HUGE, High Quality Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An April Fossil of the Month. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the lower jaw. This plate has good preservation, light brown color, and is exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is completely matrix free - rare. A well preserved, fossil Cave Bear jaw (Urusus spelaeus) from the Carpathian Mountains, Romania. These large bears lived in the mountain caves from central Europe to Russia. No repair or restoration.You can own a rare and wonderful story piece from the Ice Age!  An excellent, juvenile cave bear lower jaw.
