Lepidodendron, a Lycopod or "fern-like" tree.  Very ornate bark pattern. Exquisite detail and preservation. The shale matrix is a very nice color. This specimen comes from the coal bearing region of the Upper Silesia Basin, Czerwionka, Poland. They are approx. 315 MM years old.

An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone quality is excellent with excellent color and patina. This osteoderm has a high ridge on one side. There are some hydration cracks and crack fill. No restoration. Our July FOTM week 2 offering - an ULTRA RARE, EXTRA LARGE copper red colored Chubutensis tooth - an upper jaw anterior position. A monster sized 3-3/4" Chubutensis tooth. Rare copper red colors with rich reds and red-brown colors. The bourlette is very good. The serrations are sharp with a worn tip. Excellent color! Incredible size and excellent overall condition. A Top Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth "Mako", shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. This is a "Blue" layer tooth which are know for the highest preservation and best color - rarely seen outside of Europe. This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Isurus oxyrinchus, the Shortfin Mako shark tooth (lower jaw anterior tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a blue & tan crown and a light brown colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. An ultra rare, Top Quality lower jaw lateral Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown with a tan root. Colorful Jurassic "gem" dinosaur bone from the Morrison Fm., Moffat Co., Colorado. Silica (agate) replaced sauropod dinosaur limb or vertebra bone. The bone pore structure is well perserved and gives the bone a wonderful natural "textured" look with different colorization.
