A Very Rare, HIGH QUALITY Parotodus benedeni, the False Mako, tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield, California. This tooth has a nice tan & orange colored enamel and a very massive root. An ultra rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis  rooted premaxillary tooth. This Allosaurus crown measures 15/16". The complete tooth measures 2-7/16" and 1/2" wide and is fully inflated. The enamel is highest quality with a natural wear facet at the tip. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent serrations. Great overall condition and serrations. Note - 1/4" of the root base was repaired. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Grand Co., Utah. Authenticity guaranteed. You do not see rooted teeth very often. Note - A Riker frame will be included.

A rare, TOP QUALITY Megatherium americanum sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths from the Pampean region, Uruguay. A March Fossil of the Month. Megatherium is from the family of the largest Ground sloths. This claw has excellent preservation. It is complete down to an excellent tip with essentially no restoration or repair. There appears to be a 1.5” area of the top of the sheath rim on the back side that may have minor restoration (see photo - a small area). Excellent preservation of the proximal end. An incredible massive Late Pliocene - Early Pleistocene display piece from Uruguay. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic Pleistocene giant ground sloth claw specimen.
