A High Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth "Mako", shark tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands.  This tooth has good color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. A LARGE, TOP QUALITY serrated Nanotyrannus lancensis premaxillary tooth from the western US. A March Fossil of the Month. The premaxillary teeth were the front teeth, have a "D" shaped base, and were not large. Most Nano premaxillary teeth are non-serrate. This Nano has strong serrations - rare.  The right side serrations have some wear or damage. This tooth measures 7/8" (straight line). The enamel is excellent quality. No cracks. Exceptional concentric growth rings well preserved as well as the pair of ventral foramina openings along the side. Very thick at 1-1/16". You don't see the large Otodus vertebra any more!
