A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE & very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii, from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Our 2nd November Fossil of the Month is a highly desirable Zygorhiza molar or "yoke" tooth.  An exceptional chocolate brown colored crown and tan root. The crown has fantastic articulation with incredible detail. Complete root. This tooth has minimal repair to tips of the 3 cusps on the left side only. Very little repair overall for a yoke tooth which are typically heavily repaired.  One of the BEST Archaeocete molars that I have seen from So. Carolina in a long time. A very rare collector's tooth. A rare, incredibly preserved Asterocidaris meandrina, a fossil club echinoid (urchin). The specimen is fully inflated, nicely articulated, and complete with bulbous spines - a very aesthetic display. These “Club” echinoids on matrix include some composite spines/radioles from their species. This fantastic echinoid is middle Jurassic period from from Boulemane, Middle Atlas Mts., Morocco. A Top Quality "Smoky Top" Megalodon tooth from Georgia - an upper jaw anterior tooth. The crown has excellent unique tan color with wisps of black "smoke" on top of both sides. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks. A Large Brown colored bourlette which is complete. Extra large, razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is a brown color, nicely articulated, robust, and complete. This tooth is exhibits large serrations and small grooves on the root ends. A serrated Top Quality Tyrannosaur juvenile premaxillary tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian - Two Medicine Fm.) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 13/16" -  an excellent juvenile premaxillary (front) Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. This premax tooth is fully serrated, and the serrations are incredible. Serrated to the tip with an excellent unworn tip. No crack, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Two Medicine Fm., Glacier Co., Montana. Most likely an excellent Daspletosaurus juvenile tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. Authenticity guaranteed. An excellent collector's tooth.
