A rare, Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from the desert of Fayum Depression, Birket-le-Qurun, Egypt. A February Fossil of the Month. Excellent condition and preservation. No repair or restoration. Complete tooth. This tooth was found in the Qsar-el-Sagha Fm., and is late Eocene age (38-42 MYA). Authenticity guaranteed. I have never seen an Otodus sokolovi tooth from Egypt. A rare collectors teeth.

An ultra rare, LARGE Top Quality Edestus heinrichi shark whorl with 7 big crowns, from Herrin, Illinois. An October Fossil of the Month. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. Excellent preservation and serrations. This whorl is incredible teeth detail - the first 5 crowns are all natural and the the last two have some top repair. One of the finest whorls that I have had. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. Note - Two crown tips were professionally retored. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi associted pair of whorls, from Herrin, Illinois. A July Fossil of the Month. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. An ultra rare assoiiated pair of tooth whorls. Note - the crown tips are naturally rounded (polished)  which thought to be due to wear from the vertical whipping motion used to slice prey. Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. This is the first associated whorl pait that I have seen.

Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The enamel is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. A very rare,Top Quality Anzu wyliei finger from the Hell Creek Fm. of So. Dakota. A september Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell", a large Hell Creek Fm. oviraptor. This is the 2nd finger with a non-assciated manus claw and digit. The manus claw is top quality with minor crack fill. Excellent rich brown color and patina. All surfaces are fantasic - very rare. This is top quality, collector's Anzu finger from the Hell Creek of So. Dakota. A Top Quality Cretodus crassidens, an extinct Mackerel shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Lower Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design that includes a large / heavy root with high root face, a narrow crown width, and broad side cusps. This is the big shark tooth in Texas Cretaceous deposits which can reach 2.6". This is an anterior tooth with perfect side cusps. Authenticity guaranteed. I don't see many of these teeth.
