A GEM QUALITY Chubutensis tooth from the Ica area of Peru - an upper jaw tooth. An August Fossil of the Month. An excellent dark tan colored crown with no peel. Highest quality enamel. A Top Quality Abelisaurid dinosaur tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. Once thought to be a "raptor" tooth, it is now clear that these teeth are Abelisaurid, a family of Ceratosaurian theropod dinosaurs with the unique straight posterior carina. They were the dominate smaller theropod in the late Cretaceous Kem Kem deposit. Excellent red color and serrations. Excellent preservation. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Prognathodon anceps tooth from the phosphate mining region, Khouribga, Morocco. P. anceps is one of the largest mosasaur species known with huge nearly round teeth used for crushing prey.  Exceptional condition and preservation. An ultra rare Mosasaur matrix piece with two Top Quality Mosasaurus (Prognathodon) anceps teeth with their original roots. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month selection. Includes a massive 5-1/2" tooth and a 3" tooth in the original matrix. Both are fully rooted and perfect teeth which is very rare! This is not your typical Mosasaur crown glued to a root. A rare Megalodon tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. This Meg is serrated. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. A High Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth "Mako", shark tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands.  This tooth has good color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge.
