The March 2016 Fossil of the Month is a GEM light brown colored Megalodon - PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. Highest quality enamel - glass-like with no hydration cracks! A very nice deep brown bourlette - 100% complete. Razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. The serrations are 100% complete! The root is incredible - a medium brown, nicely articulated, and complete with no hydration cracks on the display side. One of the finest preserved Megs that I have seen. An exceptional collector's Megalodon tooth from Georgia. A PERFECT Megalodon tooth. BEST of the BEST!

A HUGE, TOP QUALITY Spinosaurus aegyptiacus tooth from the Kem-Kem region of Morocco. An October Fossil of the Month. High quality enamel with well preserved and pronounced grooves running up the crown. Little crown tip wear for a big tooth. A fantastic deep red patina - rare color for a Spino tooth, and the surface has a drusy crystalline appearance - very nice and very rare. Plus this is an extra thick BIG Spino tooth that would have been easily 1-1/2" thick at the base - see photo. One of the fattest Spino teeth that I have seen. No cracks. No repair and restoration. A very special, big collector's tooth from an extra large Spinosaurus - the 50 foot variety! Plus rare deep red color with a crystalline surface. An essentially PERFECT tooth. You do not see the top quality BIG Spino teeth very often. Authenticity guaranteed. Best of the BEST!

A rare, TOP QUALITY 6-1/4" GREEN Megalodon tooth from the Miocene of Georgia - an upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth. A November Fossil fo the Month. The enamel is the Highest Quality with few hydration cracks. The crown is a fantastic mix of dark and medium GREEN color - rarely seen. An excellent, light tan colored bourlette which is nearly complete. Sharp serrations are complete including an excellent tip serration. Incredible serrations for a BIG Meg tooth.The root is an excellent brown color, nicely articulated, and complete. An exceptional color combination. Note - these Georgia Megs are fantastic - essentially no sign of wear and excellent perservation. An incredible color collector's BIG Megalodon tooth from Georgia. An incredible 5-1/4" GEM, Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth. It has an excellent medium blue colored crown with an exceptional hazel brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! One of the finest examples of a classic upper jaw anterior blue Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine. NO repair. The BEST of the BEST! Definitely one of my favorites. My largest and  last blue LC Meg to offer.

LC050             Size: 5-1/4"

A High Quality , 4-1/8" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible very light creamy tan colored crown with interesting light charcoal gray patterning. High quality enamel with no hydration cracks. The Caribbean Megalodon teeth consistently offer the closest to white colored enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large and essentially perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including a worn tip serration. Excellent serrations! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks. Great symmetry. Note - there was a 1/4" strip of the serrations on the right side of the tooth saw cut near the base and it was professionally restored. The damaged area was restricted to the edge only. This Megalodon was found in a limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredible Caribbean Meg tooth. A fine example of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth, and an excellent collector's rare Megalodon tooth! Note - The limestone is sawed into thin blocks for extraction which totally destroys 99%+ of these Megalodon teeth.

A GEM Quality Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the upper jaw. The specimen resides on its orinigal matrix. This plate has exceptional preservation, fantastic deep red colors, and exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is mostly matrix covered with a large whale bone is exposed. An incredible late Miocene Eagle ray mouth plate from the Bahia Inglesa Fm.  Museum Quality. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site.  A great display piece!

A GEM, very rare Otodus aksuaticus tooth with gray color. Excellent transitional tooth with small serrations covering 3/4 of the crown and side cusps. Found in Tushbiar, Mangyshlak, W. Kazakhstan. This is a GEM quality tooth, but it a pit in the bourlette area. Kazakhstan is one of the few places on earth where the transition series from Ototdus (non-serrated) to Auriculatus (fully serrated) can be found.
