A Very Rare, Top Quality Notidanodon pectinatus tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. An August Fossil of the Month. This genius is from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Hexanchiforme shark. The crown is complete with 8 cusplets (1 damaged) and the root is complete (cracked).  High quality enamel. No repair. A Top Quality, 4-1/2" Classic Peruvian Early Megalodon tooth. Our 2nd February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent tan bourlette. Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and essentially complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. The root is an excellent reddish brown color and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). Note -  the "root ears"on the root, root wing grooves, the exceptionally large serrations, and Chubutensis-like humps at the base of the serrations - all Miocene traits. Small well preserved egg shell pieces from Pyroraptor olympius, a Dromaeosaurid raptor dinosaur, from southern France. This small raptor whose name means "fire thief". A very unique shell design with large dimples. These egg shell pieces are typical size for these small eggs with a shell thickness of 1/32"+. These late Cretaceous age shells were found near the Pyroraptor discovery site in Trets, Aix Basin, Provence, France. All natural. No restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.
