An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Prognathodon anceps tooth from the phosphate mining region, Khouribga, Morocco. P. anceps is one of the largest mosasaur species known with huge nearly round teeth used for crushing prey.  Exceptional condition and preservation. Note - this large Moroccan Mosasaur was renamed to a Prognathodon genus. There is one small natural wear facet on the side. A HUGE 3" Top Quality Carcharodon carcharias, the Great White shark, tooth from So. Carolina. A July Fossil of the Month. An upper jaw anterior tooth. Highest quality enamel. A blue & tan colored enamel and a solid charcoal colored root. Fantastic color! Root is well preserved - very difficult to find in the Carolina GWs. Nice sharp serrations with a good tip serration.
