An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from So. Carolina. A February Fossil fo the Month. An excellent BLACK colored crown. Top quality enamel with no peel. The black bourlette is extra large and 90% complete. Sharp serrations are sharp and near complete with a good tip serration. The root is black colored, extra wide, nicely articulated and complete with small hydration cracks. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A special Top Quality BIG BLACK Megalodon tooth. A very rare Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Lateral tooth from a reworked layer. The crown has minor wear with small tip damage. The root is ~9/16" thick and shows typical hydration cracks. This Parotodus tooth was found in the Yorktown Formation (Pliocene age). No repair or restoration. A very special, rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
