A GEM, 4-3/8" Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth. Our February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light orange colored crown with an exceptional two tone bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional light orange color! The bourlette is excellent and complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Essentially PERFECT serrations with partial damage to one. Exceptional serrations! The root is an excellent white color. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). Note -  the "root ears"on the root and the exceptionally large serrations - Miocene traits.  One of the finest examples of a classic Peruvian Miocene Megalodon tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. Our 2nd November FOTM is a GEM quality, rare Araucaria mirabilis pine cone specimen from Argentina. Extra large stem. Exceptional definition. Only slightly compressed. One of the finest pine cones that I have seen! No repair (that goes for all of the pine cones). This ultra rare cone is from an old collection with no new supply available. Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens ulna bone (lower front leg or "arm" bone) from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They were mainly bipedal, but could walk on all four legs in search of food. This specimen is a excellent with some crack fill. Bone quality is excellent. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. A Rare, High Quality Odontaspis sp. tooth from Dinosaur Park, Alberta, Canada. This is a species from the Late Cretaceous Dinosaur Park Formation deposit. The crown is complete, both side cusps complete, and root end damaged. Good quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
