A Rare, colorful Peruvian Megalodon tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an exceptional red - brown bourlette. The root is brown and red. Great color! Top quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and mostly complete. The serrations are large and sharp with a slightly damaged tip serration. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). A High Quality Chubutensis tooth - an anterior tooth from So. Carolina. Chubutensis is the predecessor of Megalodon and has the small side cusps. High quality enamel and sliver gray colored. A RARE, Top Quality Dakotaraptor steini (raptor) tooth. A near or small adult specimen. Dakotaraptor steini is one of two recently described Hell Creek Fm. raptors. An August Fossil of the Month. This tooth is 9/16" which is a good sized. The enamel is excellent with a great dark brown color with some root etching. This tooth does not have the multiple prominent longitudinal "ribs" run the length of the crown. Excellent large posterior and small (weak) anterior serrations.
