A GEM Quality, Colorful Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. An October Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 1-1/2" - an excellent Tyrannosaur  tooth. A maxillary tooth. The enamel is highest quality with exceptional color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent. No repair or restoration. An EXTRA LARGE, pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs, and this is a big one. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. Note -  1-1/2" thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. The big Silica Fm. brachiopod. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic display specimen!
