A natural Hoploscaphites nebrascensis ammonite with excellent preservation of the shell material. The ammonite shell has some natural iridescence. This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with multiple rows of tubercles (nodes). This specimen is sits in an original Pierre Shale nodule with a flat base for a great display. A TOP QUALITY shark vertebra from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Exceptional condition and preservation. Incredibly defined ventral holes. A Top Quality Ankylosaurid osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurids had their body covered with this bony armor. A LARGE Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), an early elephant, lower jaw with tooth. Found in the Indigirka River Basin, Siberia. An Ultra Rare, rooted Top Quality Allosaurus fragilis tooth measuring 3-3/8". This Allosaurus crown measures 1-1/2" and is wide for its size (5/8"). The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Very good serrations on both sides all the way to the wear facet. Very good serrations for a large tooth. Two cracks was stabilizied. A little repair was done on the narrowest section of the root. Excellent overall condition with very good serrations. An excellent quality tooth! A rare Carcharhinus limbatus tooth, the Blacktip shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth.
