An LARGE, TOP QUALITY, Isurus oxyrhincus tooth, the Shortfin Mako, from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Upper jaw lateral tooth. Excellent copper red color with exceptional gloss. A LARGE pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod. Both valves present  -a complete specimen. More than 1-1/4" thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. A gorgeous display piece!

A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE Angustidens tooth - a wide upper jaw anterior tooth from the Wando River, SC. This Angustidens tooth is exceptionally large - nearly 4" - a size rarely seen with a Angustidens.  The color is excellent.  The enamel quality is exceptional. The serrations are razor sharp including the tip. The bourlette is excellent and essentially complete. The root is excellent and complete. Note - several small root face "pits" were filled to improve the aesthetic appearance. Excellent symmetry. This is a rare sized, well preserved Angustidens tooth.  AN EXCELLENT Collector's tooth!
