An EXTRA LARGE, beautifully prepared Asaphus punctatus trilobite from Saint Petersburg. A very nice three lobe design. Note the raised eyes to see in soft sediment. The high eye stalks were used to find prey and identify predators. An Ordovician (470 mya) trilobite from the Saint Petersburg region, Russia. Exceptional quality and preservation! An ultra rare, Top Quality Alopias palatasi shark tooth, the extinct serrated Giant Thresher, from the Nottoway River, Virginia. A January Fossil of the Month. An incredibly preserved, Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), an early elephant, molar found in North Sea. Mammoths were present in this area during the Late Pleistocene Ice Age. Great natural color! A large molar with a nicely articulated chewing surface. A complete root - very rare. Completely fossilized. Weighs 3 lbs. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.
