An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (lower anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. An EXTRA LARGE, HIGH QUALITY Megalodon - upper jaw tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This tooth remains on its original limestone matrix - very unique. This Megalodon has an excellent tan colored crown and a golden tan & brown tan colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The serrations are razor sharp with a good tip serration. An EXTRA LARGE,  High Quality Edmontosaurus annectens toe bone from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This bone is phalanx ! from toe II, the largest phalanx bone.  Bone quality is good. Some crack fill. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Harding Co., So. Dakota. An excellent collector's quality Edmontosaurus carpal bone.  Authenticity guaranteed. This is a massive toe bone. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a section of the lower jaw showing the grooves where the columns of teeth were positioned. Bone quality is very good. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Carter Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Edmontosaurus jaw section.  Authenticity guaranteed.

An Extra Large, TOP QUALITY, 3" Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth with an excellent blue & tan colored crown. A March Fossil of the Month. This is a natural matrix specimen sitting with many whale bones in the original Round Mountain Silt matrix block. The large whale bone at base is 5-3/4" x 3".
