A very rare, Trigonotodus alteri shark tooth, an extinct Giant Thresher, from So. Carolina. Nice tan color. Good preservation, but there are a some condition issues.  These teeth are rarely found and seen. A rare collectors' tooth in high quality condition. Authenticity guaranteed. This is the rarest of the Giant Thresher species.

These teeth have a unique design with a high root face, broad side cusps, and strong vertical ridges along the crown base. This is an anterior tooth with perfect side cusps. Authenticity guaranteed.
