Two well preserved horse teeth (Equus sp. ) and a deer tooth (Odocoileus sp.) from Okeechobee, Florida.  The horse arrived in North America during the late Pliocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene. Deer arrived in No. America in the mid-Miocene. These teeth reside on their original hard sandstone matrix. Lots of prep time required to expose these teeth. Very well fossilized specimens. A LARGE, well preserved horse lower jaw (Equus sp. ) from northern Florida.  The horse arrived in North America during the late Pliocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene. A silica replaced Cyrtospirifer brachiopod Rudkine near Voronezh, Russia. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. Exceptional preservation. Note - 1" thick and heavy! This is a late Devonian (370 mya) brachiopod. A nice display piece!

An incredibly preserved, Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), an early elephant, molar found in North Sea. Mammoths were present in this area during the Late Pleistocene Ice Age.
