A very rare, early Otodus mugodzharicus upper jaw, lateral tooth from western Kazakhstan. A transition tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below). The bourlette is large and complete. Exhibits very fine serrations along the lower 2/3 of the crown and weakly serrated side cusps with very irregular serrations. A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth has short pathologic ribs in the enamel. Possibly an attempt to create serrations. There have been some C. hubellii GW transition teeth found in the mine.  This tooth has a rich tan crown and a light tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Pliocene tooth from the Yorktown Fm. An excellent collector's tooth.
