A well preserved, rare Scyphocrinites elegans crinoid holdfast from Morocco. The crinoid stem attached to these floating holdfasts. The Scyphocrinites crinoids were floating crinoids and their holdfast was actually an air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx. This holdfast is bulbous with a fantastic detail. A peg stand is included as in the photos. These crinoid holdfasts make excellent fantastic display pieces. An ultra rare, Top Quality Trierarchuncus prairiensis, an Alvarezsaurid dinosaur, hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Trierarchuncus prairiensis means the "Captian Hook" since they possessed a single claw on each arm. An excellent manus claw with rich brown color and patina. An ultra rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis  rooted premaxillary tooth. This Allosaurus crown measures 15/16". The complete tooth measures 2-7/16" and 1/2" wide and is fully inflated. The enamel is highest quality with a natural wear facet at the tip. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent serrations. Great overall condition and serrations. Note - 1/4" of the root base was repaired. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators.
