A GEM rolled Phacops trilobite on a Silica Shale matrix. Check out the detail of the compound eyes - Exceptionally preserved. The quality of the Silica Shale Fm. trilobites are incredible. A TOP QUALITY specimen from the Middle Devonian (380 mya), Silica Shale Fm. from Lucas Co., Ohio. A collector's must have item!

A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE Megalodon upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from a special location near Savannah, Georgia. Gorgeous solid light tan color with a black bourlette - excellent color and highest quality enamel. The crown has a unique spade shape - a rare, very showy extra wide crown. The black bourlette is excellent and large. The serrations are very sharp with an excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg. Root is complete and a gorgeous dark brown color. A FOTM is back. A GREEN TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE Megalodon upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from the So. Edisto River, So. Carolina. A fantastic green colored crown with tan color approaching the tip, and the serration color fades to a charcoal gray color. Very cool colors! High quality enamel. The bourlette is brown.The serrations show some wear, and are essentially complete with a good tip serration. Very good serrations for a big Meg. The root is nicely articulated with a nice brown color. Excellent symmetry. This is an excellent big Meg. Weighs more than 1 lb. NO repair! AN EXCEPTIONAL BIG GREEN MEG from So. Edisto River. Oxyrinchus - A GEM rare I. oxyrinchus teeth. Upper jaw lateral teeth (A4-A6) position. Very nice light color with exceptional gloss. Great preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and tip - exceptionally clean.

DD53           Size: 4" W x 2" H

A very rare, early Otodus mugodzharicus upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. The bourlette is complete. Tooth exhibits very fine serrations along the lower 1/3 of crown and micro serrations to the tip. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth. A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set! No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - This western Kazakhstan site is one of the few places in the world where the Otodus to Auriculatus transition can be found in adjacent layers.
