A rare, Top Quality Lamna nasus, Porbeagle shark tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. A Mackerel shark. Possibly an attempt to create serrations. There have been some C. hubellii GW transition teeth found in the mine.  This tooth has a rich tan crown and a light tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Pliocene tooth from the Yorktown Fm. An excellent collector's tooth.
