An Ultra Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni, the False Mako, tooth from Pyramid Hill, Kern County, California. This tooth has a nice tan colored enamel and a very massive root. The crown enamel has good luster and sharp edges. High quality enamel. Note - the right root end was professionally repaired. It is difficult to see any repair. An ultra rare, top quality 4-1/8" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. A November 2019 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon tooth remains on the original matrix block which includes two whale bones - all original as found! Highest quality enamel with a great light tan color. The bourlette is a slightly darker light tan and essentially complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. A TOP QUALITY Megalonyx leptostomus sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths and our December 2017 Fossil of the Month. This claw has excellent preservation and shows little water wear. It's complete down to a nice tip with absolutely no restoration or repair. Excellent preservation of the proximal end. An ultra rare, Top Quality Judith River Nodosaur body spike from the late Cretaceous of North America. AJune Fossil of the Month. The Campanian age Nodosaurs grew to 22 feet and 6000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor with body spikes along the edge of the body (see Edmontonia photo). Edmontonia is the named Two Medicine Fm. Nodosaur which is a good proxy to the currently undescribed Judith River Fm. Nodosaur. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. A complete side armor spike from a large Nodosaur. ~72 MYA. Note - there is less than 10% professional restoration in small areas for aesthetic purposes at the base. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare collector's quality Ankylosaur body spike.
