A LARGE, GORGEOUS Otodus obliquus tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. Lateral tooth. This tooth has an excellent golden tan color and a white root. Knife-like edges and tip! A massive, thick root. Note - the side cusps appear to have serrations. No repair or restoration. Great color! One of the earliest ancestors of the Megalodon. An excellent collector's quality tooth. A rare well preserved, Cave Hyena jaw section with three teeth (Crocuta crocuta spelaea) from the Yakutsk Region, Siberia. The Cave Hyena is also known as the Ice Age Spotted Hyena. These extra large hyenas lived in the mountain caves from central Europe to Russia.
