An EXTRA LARGE TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent canine tooth (see photo for tooth positions). A July Fossil of the Month. An excellent brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An Eocene age tooth (35 MYA).  No repair or restoration. A great Archaeocete tooth from the Suwanee River, Florida.  A very rare collector's tooth from an old collection.  A massive canine tooth!

A rare late Jurassic sauropod limb bone section from the Morrison Fm. with bite marks. This is most likely a Camarasaurus tibia end section.  There is a tooth rake and a wedge cut shown in photos #3 & 4. Photo #5 shows a circular puncture of the bone. Camarasaurus was a mid- sized Jurassic sauropod.. Great rich brown gray color. Excellent bone quality. Note - sauropods had hollow bones with air sacs to reduce their weight. A rare Top Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & distally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This is a "Blue" layer tooth which are know for the highest preservation and best color - rarely seen outside of Europe. This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. One side cusplet. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.
