A LARGE, Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. An ULTRA RARE, TOP QUALITY white colored Carcharocles chubutensis tooth - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth from Calvert Cliffs, Maryland. A November Fossil of the Month. An ultra rare, early Auriculatus parasymphyseal tooth from Kzil-Orda region, Kazakhstan. A July Fossil of the Month. Note - The center teeth would rarely be lost during feeding. So, very few are in the fossil record. The bourlette is complete. Excellent coarse serrations and killer with typical small side cusps. These teeth exhibit fantastic color, gloss, and preservation. A very rare Physeteridae sp., a Sperm whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. This is a second much rarer late Miocene Sperm whale tooth found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. This tooth is similar to the Sperm whale teeth found at the Sharktooth Hill site. I have only seen four teeth. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no teeth coming from this site 19 years!
