An ultra rare, top quality 5-3/4" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. This tooth was found in the Ernst West quarry. An October Fossil of the Month.  This Megalodon tooth has the highest quality enamel with a great Blue & Tan color. The bourlette is a brown color and nearly complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. The serrations are complete with a good tip serration - incredible serrations for a large Sharktooth Hill Meg tooth! This is a middle Miocene Meg. Note - the grooves on the root ends and the small root "ears" at the top of the root - a Miocene Meg tooth feature!  Note - a 3/8" enamel section pooped off and was reattached on the right side (1/2" from the root). You do not see large middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. One of the rarest Megs! Authenticity guaranteed. An incredible Museum Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth that came out of a 25 year old old collection!  A custom display stand is included. A TOP QUALITY, ~6" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our June 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible golden tan colored crown with an exceptional mahogany brown bourlette - essentially complete with two toned color. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional golden tan enamel! The bourlette is extra large and near perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Nearly PERFECT serrations (a few serrations damaged near the base  - all serrations are razor sharp. Exceptional serrations for a really big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color with very few no hydration cracks and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Pliocene age = 4.5 MYA). The finest example of a 6" classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth that I have seen considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's XXL LC tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! Museum Quality Megalodon. You rarely see a GEM or any 6" Lee Creek Megalodon teeth offered for sale. "Flaming Red Auric"  A very rare, EXTRA LARGE Auriculatus lateral tooth with a tan crown and a gorgeous, highly articulated red colored root. The bourlette is red colored, extra large, and nearly complete. The serrations are very nice -  large, razor sharp, and complete. Massive side cusps.  Incredible preservation -  among the finest you will see with an Auriculatus. The only challenge with this tooth is the left root corner broke during extraction and was reattached. The repair work is very well done and very hard to detect (no filler).   These Peruvian Aurics are very rare.
