This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. It also provides the most detailed, highly preserved fossils. Exceptional preservation and preparation. A GEM Otodus with a severely distorted cutting edge - what I refer to as the "acid" effect. The entire top of the crown is split into multiple cusps that are melting away -  a very unusual pathology. Incredible color and preservation. Museum quality.Perfect tooth.
