Carcharocles auriculatus - Peru
A very rare, EXTRA LARGE Auriculatus lateral tooth from the Ocucaja region deserts of Peru. A March Fossil of the Month. An excellent RED crown and brown root. The serrations are very nice - large and sharp. Good side cusp development and a complete root. A thick root (7/8"). Excellent preservation. Some root root lobe damage. No restoration. Found in the Paracas Formation, Late Eocene. These Peruvian Rics are very rare! You cannot find them any more. Authenticity guaranteed. One of the most difficult Auriculatus teeth to locate.
